Rye Meads and Kingfishers

Went into Welwyn town to do some shopping this morning... it was very foggy so we decided photography was not really on the early morning agenda.

However, we got some better light as the day went on so we popped into Rye Meads.  A couple of Redshank were not far from the hide.. and were almost posing until a guy with a very noisy camera, shot off a few noises shot and scared the away!!

A pair of Kingfishers entertained us.. the male feeding the female with fish.. she'd been in the Kingfisher Bank and all the signs are that she's on a nest... hopefully!!

We walked the 'long way' round and noticed this stoat.. it was very far away and difficult to tell which it was as it was coming directly towards us.

Good to have a stroll in the sunshine - at last!!
