A few male photographers with very big lenses were in the hide...... and some of the shutter noise was so loud (and more like machine-gun fire) that it was frightening the birds away...... grrrr
This Nuthatch certainly didn't want to be photographed.
There are a pair of nesting Great Crested Grebes who are nest building on the very far side of the lake and just visible from the Tern Hide... far to far for a picture!!
and on to more mundane things!!

Yes, these people with great long lenses, but they are becoming extinct eventually (the cameras/lens that is) as Mirrorless cameras keep getting more lens coming on the market
