Flatford Mill and Guildhall at Lavenham...

We set off via Bishops Stortford.. Pete had his passport pic taken... very serious business;  ... then on to Flatford Mill to try their scone of the month..

We shared the scone of the month - Honey & Walnut -  excellent and a fruit scone - which was lovely but not as lovely..

We headed off for Lavenham having a stop at Lavenham Brook Vineyard - where a few purchases were made.

Lunchtime - at Lavenham Guildhall was excellent -  vegetable soup and a generous hunk of bread - and we shared a fruit scone.. which, I have to say, was a little better than the one we'd had previously (albeit that one was good too)...

After a wander around the house we headed off.  WE were going to top elsewhere but the storm clouds were gathering. - an excellent day out :D
