We decided a day out was needed - so up and out and off to Grey's Court - we were there this Spring so good to see in dressed for Autumn.
The forecast was for thick cloud - but we were so lucky - the sun shone for a considerable part of our visit.
First stop a cuppa and a scone - I'd been driving through murky mist and fog. It was a goodish scone - about 3.5 out of 5.
Still in bloom and it's the end of November!!
Catkins!
This wisteria is 120 years old!!
A clematis bud!
and lunch - a much better scone this time 4.5 out of 5
We saw many Red Kites on the way home and conveniently managed to stop for some pics. Wrong lens with me today and wrong camera - so just a record shot!
A good day out - def a return visit - probably in the Spring

What an amazing place and I especially like the plethora of scones. It does look like a fantastic place to visit.
Another wonderful set of pictures. Those scones look awfully good.
