Venice day 6 - 25 Oct - Part 2 - Santi Giovanni e Paolo

We sat here having lunch in the brilliant sunshine.  A 'flea market' was taking place and on the far side we looked at the church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo - which is absolutely stunning!!  And the sky was the most wonderful colour - blue!!

so a visit to the inside...

The choir of Gresham's school (the school is in Norfolk, England) were rehearsing in readiness for a later performance.  Some very talented young choristers and their music really added to the atmosphere of the church.

and then out later to our fave restaurant for our final meal in Venice - albeit we had two more meals than original planned for......

Tomorrow, off after brekkie for our flight back to the UK.

It's been a really good holiday with some lovely sunshine after the fog of the day we arrived.  Lots of memories from a fascinating city!  But on reflection - the trips to the islands were probably my favourite days - especially the three islands day.... :)
