Love is in the air.. at Hatfield Forest
UP in Essex in glorious sunshine.. a pair of Mute Swans felt it was spring and the Black-Headed Gulls are getting their black heads of breeding plumage... And two Great-crested Grebes out on the lake.. (no pics)..

Aside from the mallards, all my swans and grebes are solitary birds it seems, so not seeing any beautiful dances upon the water
