Music and a Scone of the month

We set off today for Wigmore Hall.... but had a wander first starting St Pauls Cathedral - and boy!! was it cold in the Arctic-like wind!  So went into Pret for brekkie.. and a hot coffee was VERY welcome.

So off for a wander..

and we both thought of OC when seeing these in a shop window..

A Vespa scooter... took me back..

and finally on to Wigmore Hall... (see bottom of the blog for details of concert)

After the concert we headed off to Flatford Mill for a rather delish Scone of the month... Passion Fruit & Curd.... really yummy and a very welcome cuppa.

Today it was the Nash Ensemble at Wigmore Hall.

Haydn String Quartet in B sharp Op 76 No. 4 'Sunrise'
and
Brahms Clarinet Quintet i B minor Op.115

Both beautifully played and I particularly liked the Brahms...
