Started out in sunshine today at Pulborough and all record shots today!!
.... a squirrel was pretending to be a bird sitting in the seed tray.
One of the 'resident' doves
Lovely to see this male Bullfinch but he was definitely in hiding!!
Hundreds of Wigeon about
and over twenty Fieldfare in the field with 2 Redwing and 2 mistle thrushes... nice
From there I headed off to Arundel as the light was reasonably good... hoping for more shots of the Kingfisher.. who was nowhere to be seen.. and neither was the sun by now :(
A female Mallard was probably the highlight of the (photographic) day ;)
and a female pheasant.. stalking?.. something? lol
I headed off to Warnham to see if the Tundra Bean Goose was still about... well, no-one had seen it today and I certainly didn't.. hey ho..
HOme for a cuppa just as it started to chuck it down....

Very difficult to hide when you have a breast the colour of an ice lolly
