Day 5 - Madrid and a visit to Toledo Cathedral - Part 1

As there was so much to photograph today, I've split the Toledo visit into two parts..

 starting with our visit to the Cathedral.

Well... having bought the tickets yesterday today we caught the train to Toledo.

Amazing security at Madrid station - all bags went through the x-ray scanner before we got onto the platform.. and finding the platform was a quest in itself!!

However, train was there and it's only a 33 minute journey

Toledo town is at the top of a hill, so we got a taxi up and arrived at the Cathedral.. which is AMAZING..

This pavement 'art' (?) was outside...

and in we went...

The Courtyard..

and an orange tree..

It really is the most amazing cathedral.. wow factor in so many parts of it.  So now off in search of lunch and a wander around the town.... all in Part 2.
