Nymans Gardens - full of colour

If you're looking for loads of colour and many varied plants.. then I recommend Nymans Gardens.

I met a friend today.. the sun shone and the sky was ,  mostly, blue..  Lovely to see so many Handkerchief Trees ...

a lovely morning out..

If anyone knows what this flutter is?.. I've no idea -but I believe is one of the 'Carpet' Moths?..

EDITED : and thanks to Maurice for his ID of Silver-ground Carpet moth

Apparently this is a Speckled Yellow Moth

Hi Tricia

Your Carpet moth is a Silver-ground Carpet moth, one I haven't seen around here yet.
There were lots of Speckled Yellow moths yesterday at Bentley Wood, West Dean, Wilts, together with lots of butterflies.

Cheers

Maurice
