Venice Day 2... In Burano

Of the islands around Venice, today we chose Burano which is famous for its lace making. So after breakie off to catch the boat across to the island..

I love Burano for the wonderfully vibrant colours of the buildings..

 We wandered over the bridge to the nearby island of Mazzorbo... so peaceful...  probably saw only about half  a dozen people the whole time we were there

Having spent a great day there (wish the sun had as well) we strolled back to get the boat back
