Dapdune Wharf and the River Wey

I met a very good friend today and we went to Dadune Wharf which is on the River Wey, in Guildford.  Dapdune Wharf was used for building a few barges in years gone by.

Firstly we had a boat ride... it was very peaceful along the river.. with the exception of two young children who were noisy and so were there Mums!!  The NT volunteer who was giving the commentary was difficult to hear at times... he was very good!

After a sandwich, we had a wander along the River Wey in the opposite direction..
