Denbies Vineyard for a hilly walk..

Today we had some sunshine.. which helped to lift the spirits a bit..  and despite it being cold, out in the sun it was certainly a tad warmer.

We walked up the hills which gave us great, if hazy views, of Box Hill in the distance.

On the way up, saw a Goldcrest in the Laurel bushes! Lovely

and then came across these Herwick sheep... dozing in the warmth of the sun!

and then down again.. these two cows are a permanent fixture and celebrate the 2012 Cycling event which passed by Denbies following the route which included the renowned zig-zag climb to the top of Box Hill.  I have cycled the zig-zags (albeit a few years ago) .. phew!!

 and a bite to eat before heading off home.. So pleased to have some sun.. certainly helps..!

and, for the first time for a long time, a sunset!
