My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Ferring beach and wander near Arundel

Sun shone today , so out I went.  Started off looking for birds at Goring Gap, but nothing to report.  Then, after a wander along the beach at Ferring, stopped for a bite to eat at the Sea Lane Cafe.
Bitterly cold wind today, but sunshine was lovely!

and then to Arundel.. the Swanbourne Lake..

Seems the new owner was on duty :)

all the usual culprits on the Lake, Tufties, Gulls of various sorts, a family of Mute Swans, Mallards, Coots, Moorhens, and the resident Muscovy ducks and a grey wagtail!

and very high above, a Buzzard

Feeding frenzy!

Muscovy duck..

then further down the road, the river Arun

and along the tributary near Arundel Castle

Left Arundel..

A bit of memory lane.. used to drive this way a lot with Mum..

and many many visits to The George at Burpham  - haven't been there for a while!!

and a visit to St. Marys Church, Burpham.

Light was odd today... sunny, cloudy, glary.. but good to be out!
