So the good faithful and a favourite came up and off I headed to Nymans Gardens.
I had 'brunch' of a lovely fruity scone, - warm and light.. excellent
and the a wander around the gardens - winter flowers a-plenty.. the sun kept coming and going! It was very windy still, but not cold - a balmy 10 degrees ;)
I headed off and then went to a village not too far from me. These 'watery' pictures are, in fact, fields!! Torrential rain here overnight and yesterday have caused quite a bit of flooding
Arrived at a local village.. I've driven past this cafe so many times, but today made it my lunch stop. Excellent sandwich.. the cafe has Italian influences!
The village pond
and the Church - which I've been meaning to visit more thoroughly and today was the day.
A very pleasant day out.

January-June when the various new growths of wildflowers appear, that is my favourite time
