My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Warnham's dancing Great Crested Grebes

After a rather boring day, sorting out stuff and going to the tip and charity shop.. hey ho.. I grabbed and hour at Warnham.

Can't believe these temperatures.. 19 degrees at 16.00 today... no jacket needed!

Cormorants..

The reserve's chickens..  or some of them

Stunning colours..

An incoming flock of approx. 30 Greylags.

Round by the feeders, a bank vole!  (in poor light! )

"I'm hiding" said the nesting Grey Heron

There are 3 Great Crested Grebes.. these two are the happy couple
(Pity they were just too far away for any decent pics from my camera/lens)

and then the 3rd Grebe approached and the battle began!

Finally calm was restored.. and the couple disappeared down the other end of the water.

Great to escape for an hour or so!
