My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Petworth Park & Warnham LNR

Not the best of days in many ways.. and it was drizzling as I headed out for Petworth this morning.

Very soon, the garden will be flooded with yellow daffodils.. here's a start!

By now it was raining more heavily

A welcome drink and a scone!

Carpets of snowdrops..

and I headed off for Warnham.. the skies were grey..

But the male Chaffinch was really colourful

Two female Reed Buntings..

Joined by a male

A lone Great Crested Grebe

Oops - with the increased water level due to a surfeit of rain, the tern raft was caught!

Good to get some fresh air...
