Petworth Park & Warnham LNR

Not the best of days in many ways.. and it was drizzling as I headed out for Petworth this morning.

Very soon, the garden will be flooded with yellow daffodils.. here's a start!










By now it was raining more heavily









A welcome drink and a scone!











Carpets of snowdrops..












and I headed off for Warnham.. the skies were grey..

But the male Chaffinch was really colourful



Two female Reed Buntings..

Joined by a male



A lone Great Crested Grebe



Oops - with the increased water level due to a surfeit of rain, the tern raft was caught!






Good to get some fresh air...
