At last we had some sunshine today. So off to Claremont Gardens for some fresh air, a walk and some pictures.
The view from my window across the gardens in the morning sun
and the rather grander Claremont Gardens.
and as the afternoon came to an end, the clouds darkened as the sun lit the trees, giving a very yellow light.

great autumn colour in lovely sunshine.Going to photographic club to see if I can get anywhere near as good as your photographs
Sheila - you flatter me (blush). I've still got so much I need and want to learn though.
Beautiful photos. I especially like the one with the geese and the sun coming through the yellow leaves behind. What is the tall tree in your garden in the middle of the first photo?
Hi Mick. It's a Eucalyptus tree - Australian in origin! When I first planted it, it was about half a metre high!! It is also the favourite perch for the Ring-necked Parakeets when they first arrive in the garden. Sometimes I find it difficult to believe I live in the UK!!
Nice landscapes, Trish. And I notice from an earlier post that you went ahead and bought an ErgoRest. Hope you get on with it OK.
Thanks Diane - I've sent you an email.
What lovely landscapes you have captured, are your walls covered with your pictures?...If not they should be!
Beautiful pictures as always.
