WWT Arundel - a short visit... but

Had to wait in today for a parcel delivery which arrived lunchtime.  The sun was shining and I needed a bit of a stroll.  So wandered off to Arundel.  All the usual suspects..

but the hightlight was two young Common Terns out on the tern raft.  They seemed rather unprotected

After Mum had left, this little one came looking for the parent.. I stayed for a bit, but after 20 minutes the adult hadn't returned.

Two young Black-headed gulls (I think - there were dozens of adults so I'm assuming)

Collection Bewick swans.. I think there were 3 but had to take a pic from a respectable distance!

And that was it... nice to get out in the sun though..
