A Weekend in Norfolk - on the way home.

Woke early and had a walk around the grounds where we were staying.  The house was beautiful and we felt as though we were at a National Trust property.

The view from the windows was across the field and immediately outside the house were four cows..

Early morning in Bagthorpe.. the house was wonderful... just like staying in a stately home :)

After an excellent brekkie we headed off to meet Corinna, Cheryl and Trev at WWT Welney whee the highlight of the day was a :Pectoral Sandpiper

and then sadly, after some lunch we headed off for home.

Thanks all, for a great weekend.

Thanks RR.... twas good... hoping to go back in January - snow permitting

Roy - we're not sure... there are some residents and they could have been those. We saw a group of about 7 in the distance and then another group elsewhere... so the jury's out at the moment... And no obvious young ones amongst them.
