We were in London this morning for a concert at Wigmore Hall.
Before arriving at Wigmore we had a stroll in Hanover Square.
The Pacifica Quartet.. who were excellent played:
Prokofiev - String Quartet No 2 in F op. 92..
I enjoyed the second movement a great deal more than the first.
The second piece was Brahms String Quartet in C monior Op. 51 No. 1 which was excellent. And they kindly played an encore which was Pizzicato from a Bartok String Quartet - a great 'fun' piece which caught us (the audience) out, as we applaud before the end. A Very entertaining morning.
When we got back it was very warm, and we headed off for the Gibberd Garden which (apart from opening for their snowdrop display) opened for the first time today for this season. It's a great garden and well worth a visit... a garden I love!!

Can't get over the flowers, just beautiful. Some pretty neat statues there as well.
