A brief visit to Widewater in the murk and wind..

Was in the area of Widewater today, so I called in to see what was about - just as it started to rain.

Managed a few shots from the car... then got out to take some more having difficulty keeping the camera still in the wind today....

Four RB Mergansers today 3 x Male and 1 x Female

One male was chasing another..

Gull to Merganser "Having a bad hair day are we?".....

Bumped into a Facebook friend ... who advised that no Greenshank today, but two Redshanks further up the lagoon.... I didn't venture far today...
