My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Rye Meads and Audley End..

We went off to Rye Meads this morning whilst Pete's car was being serviced.. It was dull, wet and cool.  Not a great deal about with one rather good exception.  Mostly record shots today...

First spot on arrive a Kestrel in the box up on the pylon

Fishing Grey Heron

A few Tufted Ducks about

and in the Kingfisher hide.. just down below us was a Cettis Warbler - I just couldn't get a decent shot of it .. so just a record shot.. pleased to have it though

Picked the car up, a quick bit to eat and then off to Audley End... love sunshine by now, with blue skies and just a few clouds... really warm in the sunshine...

Lovely day out and great to have some sunshine!!
