Some Mozart and a graveyard full of squirrels....

I was off to a concert at LSO St Lukes today.... pity I didn't get the intended train so missed out on a wander around London!!

At Victoria Station, a band was playing... rather nicely.

Anyhow, I meet up with Pete (who had had a wander around London) and after a cuppa, he took me to Bunhill Cemetery - to see some squirrels...

We think we saw about 15 ish at one time... a couple of ladies had peanuts in their shells and were feeding the squirrels.  A Jay came down for his meal - a regular occurrence we were given to believe

A few pics... I didn't have the right camera or lens... but managed a few record shot nonetheless!

and views of St Lukes from a small garden behind it..

We went off to St Lukes for a spot of lunch before the concert.

The LSO are having a Mozart Season and today's concert was part of that.

The artists: Vilde Frang - Violin and Michail Lifits - Piano... a very talented couple of musicians!!

They played three of Mozart's Sonatas... rather beautifully and with great feeling and sensitivity!

Violin Sonata in F major
Violin Sonata in G major
Violin Sonata in E flat major

The chemistry between the two musicians was obvious and the incredible feeling they put into their playing was wonderful to watch and be a part of.

A really excellent concert... I could have listened to a great deal more from Vilde and Michail... :D
