My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Worthing & birds, in the wind and rain, grey skies and a Spring Tide!!

Went down to see my daughter today... stopped at Goring Gap but nothing exciting..

one lone Oystercatcher

Loads of gulls

and some rough sea in the Spring Tide..

After some shopping, we drove back to West Worthing/Goring to the Sea Lane Cafe for hot Chocolate and a bacon Sandwich...

and were entertained by the Wind Surfers...

Before going home, I stopped in Worthing.. it's a Spring Tide and the tide was in... I've never seen the sea so high under Worthing Pier..

Record shot only (and grabbed before it flew off) of a Rock Pipit

I'm amazed any birds could fly in the very strong Westerly wind!!

Certainly a day for blowing away the cobwebs!!
