Rye Meads in a thunderstorm.

Am up in Essex this weekend and called in on Rye Meads.  Whilst in one of the hides, the heavens opened, the sky was black and eventually the sun came out.... a great rainbow day.

On the way there I'd seen a Red Kite on the A10 so that was great; what wasn't so great was a lorry that threw up a stone into my windscreen, whilst I was on the M11.  A repair is now necessary.

However... it was a Green Sandpiper and Snipe day today.... the light was good after the storm....
