My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Warnham... briefly

Popped into Warnham LNR on my way back from food shopping.  It was very quiet except for a couple of hundred gulls!!  They flew off while I was there.  Largish flock of Greylags, the occastional Grey Heron and 3 Cormorants up in a tree.

Around the feeders, the usual culprits - but quiet.. very warm today and migrants not yet arriving.

The Cafe was promoting Halloween - and it is half-term so lots of children about to enjoy the efforts.

Hungry squirrel..

Female Chaffinch..

and a male..

Mr. Quackers posed infront of the tree - Mrs. Quackers had wandered off...

A Nuthatch kept coming and going.. very quickly so was glad to get this shot!

Many Goldfinches about!

and a female Woodpecker was enjoying the fat..

Reflections

The dedication on the bench was for someone's anniversary of their death... hence the flowers..

Not there for long but nice to get a bit of fresh air for a while.
