Tuesday 21 October... Day 2 in Venice..

On our second day we were up and out.. streets are much quieter in the early part of the morning.  Still a cloudy day, but the fog of yesterday had lifted a bit..

Sana Maria della Salute.. which we visited late in the week..

We had lunch beside the canal and house sparrows joined us ..

and then a visit to the amazing La Fenice (the opera house)

and of course, we had to have a coffee in the opera house... :)

Another really good day and the following day a visit to some islands is planned...  :)
