My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Island of Herm

We caught the bus into town and then the ferry across to Herm.. only a 20 minute crossing.

Herm is 1.5 miles long and half a mile wide.  No vehicles are permitted... It was stunningly beautiful in brilliant sunshine albeit a cool wind.

After landing we walked up a steep hill to St Tugual's church - very pretty

The wild flowers everywhere are stunning..

No sure but I think this is a faded Painted Lady

Speckled Wood?...

Another lovely day out... and now for another superb meal :D

Brought back lovely memories - 10 years since I visited Herm, such an inspiring and tranquil place. Lovely images too.
