Wet day... but exploring Copford Church and Lavenham..

We should have been going to Norfolk today to meet friend Trev for some birding.... but the forecast was for very heavy rain so a change of plan - another time....

Headed out - first requirement?  Breakfast... We decided to try The Food Company's cafe... is was excellent.. we will be back.

So where to now?  Off to find a particular church.. en route.. what is that very large strange bird in the road ahead of us?... it was a Turkey!!!!! and then about 4 female pheasants.

First stop - St Michael & All Angels, at Copford

and the off for a stroll (albeit a damp one) around Lavenham ..

and a rather tasty scone for lunch...

Apparently this house was used as Harry Potters's parents house in one of the Harry Potter films..

 and then off home.

In December we will be back for the Christmas Fayre in Lavenham :D ..
