Autumn colour at Sheffield Park despite grey skies..

Not being able to visit an National Trust properties for autumn colour for the next couple of weeks, I headed over to Sheffield Park today;  quite colourful but regrettably the sky was grey for most of the time; blue arrived  ---- as I left.

However... lovely to have a walk....

Briefly, the sun broke through the clouds...

hmmmm .. doesn't this normally happen in the Spring? ..

 and a scone up to the usual good standard for Sheffield.. light and crumbly and full of fruit and taste
