Which I did.. a small area but beautifully planted
Later on back to the hotel for the coach which was taking us to the dock at Falmouth
A memorial on the quayside..
and off we went on the St Mawes Ferry the Cornish Flag
and as we got nearer St Mawes, there was St Mawes Castle.. again another King Henry VIII Fort..
Having alighted, I walked with a fellow holiday maker, up to St Mawes Castle - through the very pretty streets ...
St Mawes Castle..
My new friend and I sat an had an ice cream and were kept company by this Robin
I then wandered back through the town ..
Finally time to go back to the coach.. Fido and Frank liked the view... Ponders, regrettably had accidentally been left behind in room
and from there after a 20 minute delay while we waited for 2 missing passengers... who were waiting in the wrong place, we set off for Trelissick Gardens
First stop a cuppa and a fruit scone..
This is one of the National Trust holiday 'cottages' for rent!!
