Given today is probably going to be the best weather of the week, I'd booked a parking space at Greenways, Agatha Christie's holiday home. It's in a stunningly beautiful spot with great views over the River Dart.
I'd visited here previously, and arrived by boat - that was six years ago!!
A goody scone for lunch!!
then a wander round the house.. which, by now, was very very busy so limited pictures!!
another stroll for the views
Given that Compton Castle (it's actually a manor house) is very close by so I called in on my way back. There are limited number of rooms available to see and no photography allowed indoors. But the small gardens are pretty and it was good to feel the sun!!
A few bees etc. but no flutters today :(
and time to head back... the country lanes in this area certainly test my driving skills
