Just a short walk along the beach at Widewater Lagoon

Had some essential shopping today but went via Widewater Lagoon as a reward!!

At least 5 Little Egrets about, but the bird I was after, a recently seen Cattle Egret, had not hung around and no sight of it.

It was very windy (making photography challenging) and gave a few waves!!

and then a very obliging Wheatear which is always good to see

Nice to have a wander in 'fresh' air..
