Well, the weather was better today which helped getting back into the routine after a few very good days in South Devon..
I headed off for a wander at Nymans.. the sun was shining and it was warm .. but definitely September now and signs of Autumn appearing..
In the one spot were 3 different butterflies and one (very elusive) Chiffchaff!!
Red Admiral
Elusive Chiffchaff!!
Painted Lady
Large White
and the Michaelmas Daisies were covered in bees.. not sure I've seen this type before..
More flutters on my way back to the cafe
A very good scone for lunch.
I then headed off and stopped at Warnham LRN for a short while...
I understand this to be a blue spotted form of Small Copper caeruleopunctata
and then to do the food shopping... down to earth and reality with a resounding bump!!
Another short break to come next month :D.
