Arundel WWT and Warnham LNR

Slow start to the day.. could have been a better one!

So having hired a lens for the weekend, I headed off for Arundel WWT initially, to put it through its paces.

Sadly it was very very quiet in terms of birds but










Miles high . was surprised to get even this shot!



and as I walked into the Tern Hide at Warnham there was this posey Common Sandpiper  - it was still there on my return about 1 hour later!


Also, although skulking and very well hidden, was the Snipe.. too well camouflaged!


The five Cormorants will still around.





and the two Great Crested Grebes



A posey Grey Heron


and loads of Black headed Gulls






A courting dance practice!









Try again tomorrow.. somewhere different this time! Need to escape...
