This and that - sunshine to showers

Yesterday, I had a short walk along the beach with my daughter just as the tide was going out... saw a group of about 15 Oystercatchers with, I think (no binocs) either Dunlin or Sanderling

The sun was glorious, temperature about 22 degrees, blue sky, sparkling sea - is it really 5 October?

There are two weathered wooden sculptures in this garden which are lovely.
This is a very new addition.. it's been created with skill.. but.. no sure about it.. may be when it weathers a bit?

and today?  Heavy rain with temperatures not exceeding 13 degree all day.
But as consolation, about 20 Goldfinches in and around the garden.

Will Sunday bring sunshine or showers?
