Garden Birds and a wander by the Pier.

The garden was busy with birds this morning:
Goldfinches galore, a few blue tits, a couple of Great Tits, 1 Dunnock, 3 Collared Doves and several House Sparrows

Hmmm.. what's down there then?

This is an independent cafe in Worthing... fascinates me..

and a wander to the Beach and along the Pier.

In the distance the wind turbines and maintenance ship... the light was awful today.. especially after the brilliant sunshine and blue skies of yesterday

Along the middle of the pier are windbreaks - this display an ever changing exhibition of glass pictures.. so colourful on a dull day.

The fire station.. which I know rather well..

Almost invisible against the background of shingle, a group of Turnstones having a preen..

Good to let the sea breezes blow away the cobwebs on a grey day..
