Again we awoke to rain, but by the time brekkie was done, we were off out in the dry albeit in cloud.
Down to the station to catch train to Herclaneum where we spent the morning
Lots of lizards around..this one being different from the ones we'd seen so far....
More pics and info to come when I get home...
and would you believe... Hummingbird Hawk Moths .... again.
A 'greener' lizard
We went back to the hotel for lunch and then spend the afternoon in the hotel gardens and down by the sea on the hotel's private 'beach'
ID needed please?.... Maurice?.. I really must get a European Flutter book..
Not sure on this one.. fascinating marking on the underwing but couldn't get a picture
Geranium Bronze again..
View from where we sat in the hotel's area down by the sea..

Hi Tricia
Your butterfly could be a Scarce Copper, but I cannot see the underwing markings to be positive. No idea about the others.
Cheers
