Sconeathon at Dunwich Heath.. excellent as usual

It was Sconeathon day at Dunwich so we set off in darkness... as we drove the sky got lighter and there was a wonderful sunrise.... and the day turned out to be much better than we'd expected

We were early so had a wander before.... the sun was shining..

the gorse was in full bloom

but birds were scarce..

and then into the cafe.. where Pete & I shared three different scones...
