Snow flurries and cold... Walking at Petworth and Warnham LNR

Funny old day.  I awoke about 3.30 a.m.  couldn't get back to sleep.  Looked out the window at about 5.30 a.m. and thought, in the darkness, it was thick fog.  As dawn broke I realised it was snow.. just a smattering... and it snowed for another couple of hours.

The local pigeons on a neighbor's roof didn't look that impressed either

Wanting some exercise I headed off for Petworth... the light was dreadful but good to get some fresh aire.

A stopped at Warnham on the way home where this Redwing greeted me..

A Wren flitted about

and several Mallafds under the feeder

Shoveller..

Good to get some fresh air... but it was cold so headed home for a cuppa.
