My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Sunrise... and a few birds

Bright clear skies as the sun came up today.

On the way to Tesco's... a field of frost!!

 ,
Widewater produced two Redshanks... a few Little Grebes, loads of Gulls, the family of 9 Mute Swans and two little Egrets....

Stopped off along the beach on the way home...

and popped into Warnham LNR.. to be greeted by a duet of two singing robins - this is one of them

A lot of the water was frozen..

Gulls on Ice..

and when you've got a very wooly warm coat and the sun is warm.. time for a doze..

Good to get some fresh air.....

The first thing I'm hearing every morning is the monotonous "Deee-dooo" call of great tits outside my window! I love redshank, the first wader I spotted in my recent conversion to birdwatching.
