Florence Day 2 - just a few

Today we were going Sienna... but as I woke with a rotten headache we stayed in Florence instead.  And rather glad that we did considering the birds we saw...

looks like a brimstone butterfly, and those ducklings much earlier than anything here. Must be rather warmer down there

Hi Tricia, the Butterfly is in fact a Cleopatra.
They use to fool me in to think it was a Brimstone when I use to visit Tuscany.
When their wings are open they are much richer yellow than a Brimstone.
