An impromptu trip to Batemans House & Gardens..

I woke to thick fog and a heavy frost.  Frost = no problem, fog?.. hmmm

So Plan A required good light...so not on for today.  Also the traffic reports showed very slow traffic in road works; so, as I hadn't been to Batemans House & Gardens that recently, off I headed

Saw a glimpse of the sun as I drove away and the sky wasn't that dark.. it didn't last!!
