Anglesey Abbey in winter sunshine..

Woke this morning to a very heavy frost and as daylight dawned the sun rose to blue skies.

As I drove I saw about 4 Fieldfare fly across the road in front of me and land in a tree... couldn't stop as too much traffic..

So off we went.. today Fido, and Mr Quack's friends Clarence and young Diego, came out with me.  Mr Ponders went with Mr. Quacks who was out with Pete and his Dad....

Anglesey was looking very lovely...

In the pine trees just outside the visitor's centre, at least two Goldcrests.. just managed this grabbed shot of one of them.. also somewhere in the groups of trees were Rewings but couldn't get a clear view of them...

Hmm.. this was a very cold metal gate..

Berries everywhere this Autumn....

The silver birches looking lovely as ever.....

Yes.. it's lovely in the sunshine...... quite comfy thank you...

Loads of cyclamen...

This is new since I was last here...

The idea being you sound on the base of these wooden structures and lean back to gaze above you.. it really was quite comfortable to do this..

Saw this leucistic Blackbird..

Frost still on the ground where the sun hadn't reached..

and in the bushes...

 A very distant Redwing....

and a very tasty scone... which was a very agreeable surprise!! :)

and tomorrow... looks like rain and strong winds... hey ho.

Those purple berries are an eyeopener!

You've got yet another super brave goldcrest there, they have little fear of humans
