Kelmarsh Hall .. on the way home

Sadly all good things come to an end.... a wonderful week away in the Lake District - even the weather was kind!! but as we left today it was raining..

We packed the car, had breaky and then headed off on the journey back.  Stopped for petrol and a change of drivers then we stopped at Kelmarsh Hall.. had a scone for lunch... very good.. and then walked around the very pretty and relaxed garden.

Mr Ponders is a 'friend' of Kate - the Visitor Services & Volunteer Co-ordinator at Kelmarsh and it was good to meet her when we arrived..
