I'd been asked by a friend if I knew of or had visited
Hannah's Scupture Gardens in Surrey. Given the amount of time I've spent living in Surrey and WEst Sussex I was surprised I'd not heard of it.
So off I went. Its' a quirky garden and, obviously, full of different types of sculpture. Not a large area but plenty of wandering around corners and up and down paths.. never quite knowing what you're going to see around the corner.
I spend a pleasant time there.. about 1.5 hours. There are no catering facilities.. so I dropped in elsewhere for a quite bite on my way home.
Decided I'd go home via Hatchlands House and Park. It was, given the date, very busy. I queued for a while and managed to espy scones.
And here is the fruit scone...
