Caught the train and the route was mainly through tunnels. The odd glimpses we had between tunnels gave view to some pretty impressive scenery though :D

And the food shops ....were to die for.. the smells and all the goodies presented so beautifully.. a picture in itself
Thoroughly enjoyed walking through all the arcaded streets.. kept us dry :D

We then went into the San Giacomo Maggiore... no pictures permitted so a few scanned postcards.
We had difficulty finding somewhere we were attracted to for lunch but eventually found a good restaurant.
I wasn't too impressed with Bologna but if the weather had been different I might have thought differently. Friends certainly love it.... ah well, go back another time and find out.
