I'd heard that the Nightingales had arrived at Pulborough so headed off there this morning.
As I walked along the front of the Visitor Centre, Mrs. Sparrow could be seen watching the world go by.
Very few people about except for a Facebook contact who was sitting quietly camera poised. Mick had been watching a Nightingale for sometime and I sat quietly on the grass watching the Nightingale busying backwards and forwards.
Despite the warm sun there was a cold east wind today.. so sitting down and trying to look inconspicuous gave some shelter from the wind.
So a privilege just to watch and listen to this bird.
As I continued my walk back to the visitor centre, a male blackcap flew to perch briefly on a branch across the path.
and then off for some shopping!!
Lovely morning.... and thanks for your company Mick...
