Whimbrel at Rye Meads RSPB

I had a text from Pete advising that there was a Whimbrel at Rye Meads .. so as I was just back at the car from a wander at Audley End.... I headed off :D...

And there it was - also some Common Terns have been arriving....

Only record shots, but so pleased to have seen the Whimbrel...

and cowslips singing in the sunshine..
